Where it all started...
"I grew up in Cleveland, Georgia. During the summers I worked with my father building houses. In the winter (on weekends) my dad and I would sometimes insulate attics with cellulose insulation. People loved telling us about how much money they were saving afterward! That created a huge source of pride for me to know that we were helping people save money. It was great!
I liked doing something that benefited the customer. When I finished college I tried a couple of jobs, but I realized that I wouldn't be happy unless I had my own business. That was 1999 and we've been blessed to this day."

"I grew up in Cleveland, Ga as well and have been lifelong friends with Kevin. After college Kevin approached me about a job opportunity with BCI in Cleveland, The business was just getting started and still in it's infancy and I took the job. "I grew up in Fort Valley, GA then Cleveland, GA before attending the UGA College of Business where Kevin and I were college roommates and best friends. After college I remained in Athens to work for Georgia Square Auto Center and eventually managed the Mercedes-Benz of Athens sales department. I gained valuable experience in customer satisfaction and management through 7 years in the car business but I also realized I wanted ownership in my own company. Kevin approached me with a partnership opportunity in the expansion of BCI Insulation, Inc., and the timing was perfect. Kevin and I became friends during this time and remained close throughout our college years even as I attended Georgia Tech. During this time I was proud to be involved in the first BCI start-up location. After graduation I went to work as a sales representative for Automatic Data Processing selling specialized computer systems and software to automotive dealers in middle and south Georgia. Although I did enjoy my career, I kept thinking about starting my own business. Kevin, Ben, and I had often discussed the expansion possibilities with BCI and decided to involve ourselves in the "Greater Atlanta" market. The growth we have experienced in our Alpharetta location has been outstanding.
